This is in a mixed up order, this email got filtered into my spam accidently.

    John 4:19-26

This verse is talking about a samaritan woman who is talking to Jesus and asks him why they can pray on the hill but all the Jewish people say that they must pray in Jerusalem but Jesus tells her that there is comming a time when all people can pray to God our father in spirit and in truth for that is the kind of worshipers God wants fowlowing him then the woman says yes we know this when Jesus comes he will explain all of this to us but Jesus replies with I am the Messiah.

I think it's cool that anyone can pray to God. You know, the murderers, liars and thieves etc. I wonder why she thought it was a bad idea to pray on the hill...hmmm.some sort of religion fiasco maybe...mandy

i think its funny how the guy at the end is like when this guy comes he will tell us everything and Jesus is like hey im right here kinda funny. But its wierd I think how people will pray to other things that are out there maybe im just small minded but i dont see how prayin to a statue is doin anything

What consantly amazes me is that everyone could be praying at the exact same time and God would still hear and understand every word. I also think it's cool that anyone can pray, not just the "religious" people.

I think it is crazy that people worship so many different things, and can only worship that thing at a particular place. What are they thinking. For this very reason, I think we are going to Vancouver to let people know that what they may be whorshipping is wrong, and set them straight. That may sound mean, but don't you think it's the truth? We are telling them that salvation comes through Jesus, not through idols.

i love how the woman (who was a samartian) knew that the Messiah was coming...and she just didn't realize right away that the man in front of her was the Messiah! And I like how Jesus told her flat out that you can Worship where ever you are...! I love that!

In this verse the samaritan woman believes that they are supposed to worship on Mount Gerizim and the Jews believe that they are supposed to worship in Jerusalem. Jesus tells her that you can worship anywhere and at anytime. It doesn't matter how you worship or where you worship. All that matters is that you are worshipping the Savior. Worship is not just what we do on Sunday mornings in church; worship is how you act, the things you say, the things you do, and the way you feel all the time in the Lord's eyes.

I love it how there is a sort of freedom to the way you can worship and pray. All that matters is what is in your heart and whether you mean it or not.

When I read this verse and picture it in my head, I see the women talking to Jesus and Jesus saying right out that He is the Messiah. And then I have this picture of the women kind of asking herself "Hmm I wonder when the Messiah is coming.." And then I think of Jesus standing there waving His arms being like "HELLO...I AM THE MESSIAH!!" It just makes me laugh.

the lady gets the fact that jesus is a "prophet." then she says that when the messiah comes he's gonna explain everything to me. then jesus says (i love this!) hey, that's me.
