John 12:44-50

This passage very plainly says that if you believe in Jesus and you believe in what He is saying, then you believe in God. God told Jesus what to say and how to act. When we go on the mission trip if we quote the Bible constantly and people believe in what we are saying, I think that we have done our job and shown them God.

How do people see God through your actions or what you say?

I'm always trying really hard to be a good example of Christ. Of course, I'm NOTHING compared to the real deal, but I figure that with God's help, I can lead others to the real deal...

I hope people can see God through me, and my actions. I think maybe that they see Him through my honesty, my love for people...

I have no idea- and that's what scares me. I really hope people see Jesus through what I don't do and what I don't say- you know?

I like the first verse a lot because so many people misuse the defination of "believing in Jesus" that they may believe in Him, but do they trust him and rely on him?

I think people can see God through my actions when I refuse to not talk to people or hang out with them just because they aren't "cool" or not in my friends' "Group".

i like how all of this is really talking about being the light of the world and going into a place of darkness. i think that so many times ppl think that the ones who are rejected are the dark, and thats who we need to go and talk to. i really like how it says Jesus says what he says for a reason and God tells him what to say so its all good, i mean how can he let you down when he says something like that good man good man

I completely agree with Michelle. God has laid out all of our instructions to life in the Bible and that is what we are supposed to live by. When we are in Vancouver, we are telling people about Jesus. We better be showing what we are teaching or the people we are talking to in Vancouver wll not listen to a word we have to say.

Jesus says I know his instructions lead to eternal life. This simply means believe in Christ, read the bible, stay commited and you will have eternal life in Heaven. I think that in some ways it is hard to show christ through yourself, but in other ways it seems easy, and sometimes you may not even recognize it is God working through you.

i try very hard to be a good example for others but it is so hard to do that when ppl are just waiting for you to mess up so that they can use that aginst you when you try to tell them about god.its hard to think that i am a light unto others because i am a long ways from being perfect in all i do but i realize that there are ppl that have never heard about god.

I couldn't really tell you how people see god through my actions or words.when i think really hard about that question, i don't want people to see god "through" my actions but i want people to see god "in" my actions and words. i want people to see god speaking in me....i hope that made sense to you guys
